This position has a Selective Placement Factor (SPF) which is CURRENT registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) in any state, District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you MUST provide a copy of your current registration with your application. Note – a copy of a wall certificate, without an expiration date, will not serve to verify this requirement. In addition to the SPF and Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Supervising and/or leading a team of engineers, architects, and technicians in performing the full range of multidisciplinary engineering responsibilities; 2) Overseeing engineering and architectural processes throughout the design, construction, acceptance, and project close-out stages; 3) Providing technical engineering support to subordinates and staff; and 4) Resolving engineering design problems to ensure mission accomplishment.
