Ravi’s Early 1960s Bollywood Compositions

Born Ravi Shankar Sharma, Composer Ravi Sahab had no formal training in music. His talent was discovered by Hemant Kumar Sahab and the senior music composer hired him to sing in the chorus for the Vande Mataram song in the Bollywood movie Anand Math (1952). There was no looking back for Ravi Sahab, as he began to give many hit songs and won Filmfare Awards, in his career spanning several decades. So, today’s topic is Ravi’s early 1960s Bollywood compositions.
