Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience: For the GS-12, you must have one (1) year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience is defined as follows:
-Interpreting and analyzing office administrative operations and policies and recommending changes to improve effectiveness and consistency of administrative operations; and-Coordinating and planning administrative functions such as troubleshooting office support issues, scheduling meetings and conferences, controlling correspondence, and appointment calendars for management; and-Researching and interpreting information needed to prepare reports, and to respond to requests for information.
For the GS-11, you must have one (1) year of experience at the GS-09 level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience is defined as follows:
-Coordinating and planning administrative functions such as troubleshooting office support issues, scheduling meetings and conferences, controlling correspondence, and appointment calendars for management; and-Researching and interpreting information needed to prepare reports, and to respond to requests for information.
ORYou may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or an LL.M., in a related field.
ORYou may qualify with a combination of specialized experience and education.
For the GS-09, you must have one (1) year of experience at the GS-07 level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience is defined as follows:
-Assisting with administrative functions such as troubleshooting office support issues, scheduling meetings and conferences, controlling correspondence, and appointment calendars for management; and-Researching and interpreting information needed to prepare reports, and to respond to requests for information.
ORYou may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Masters degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or a LLB or JD, in a related field.
ORYou may qualify by a combination of experience and education.
