Qualification Summary
Military Grades: Enlisted Only GENERAL EXPERIENCE: All series personnel must be certified at the next higher level before being eligible for that level and must have minimum on-the-job experiences in the grade immediately below the next higher level. An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07 Level – Must be eligible for entry into Level One Financial Management Certification Career Program. Must have at least six months of basic finance budget training or competencies (skills, knowledge, abilities, and behaviors) that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures. Must have some understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements. As a condition of continued employment in the GS-0561-07 position, must complete Level One Financial Management Certification within 24 months of appointment to the position. GS-06 Level – Must be eligible for entry into Level One Financial Management Certification Career Program. Must have at least three months of basic finance budget training or competencies (skills, knowledge, abilities, and behaviors) that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures. Must have some understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements. As a condition of continued employment in the GS-0561-06 position, the employee must complete Level One Financial Management Certification within 24 months of appointment to the position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Verbiage displayed on your resume or application must contain your own words.
