SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Specialized experience must demonstrate the applicant has been equipped with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is directly related to the work to be performed.GS-11: You must possessa Ph.D. or equivalentdoctoral degree or3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or LL.M., if related -OR- 1 year specialized experience (described below) equivalent to at least GS-9 in the Federal service.Specialized Experience for the GS-11:You must have specialized experience in 3 of the following areas: Experience inspecting the condition of recreation facilities; Experience evaluating recreation sites (state parks); Experience ensuring maintenance of developed recreation facilities by recreation managing entity/partner; Experience in planning and coordinating projects with multidisciplinary teams/entities; Experience overseeing cost share grant(s); Experience coordinating projects with multiple diverse stakeholders. NOTE: Education and experience may be combined for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
