Your resume must reflect one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency must include: Track cybersecurity and CIO office data and metrics to ensure compliancy with all CIO-related taskings. Customer Service – Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency must include: Developing technical data, estimates, statistics, and other information useful to higer-level managers in determining which IT/OT/Cyber goals and objectives to emphasize. Oral Communication – Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency must include: Engaging with Cybersecurity resource sponsor to develop long range technical and resources cyber policy. Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency must include: Ensuring that information ownership responsibilities are established for each system, to include accountability, access approvals, and special handling requirements. In addition to experience demonstrating the four competencies above, one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Applying Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and project management principles, methods and practices to develop plans and schedules, estimate resource requirements, define milestones and deliverables, and monitor activities associated with enterprise information technology systems, operational technology, networks and platform IT; 2)Advising on the interrelationships of multiple IT specialties (e.g., databases, systems, networks, cybersecurity) when considering emerging technologies and their application to the organizations business systems, cybersecurity standards and control systems; 3) Applying Federal, DoD and Agency enterprise cybersecurity tools in conducting assessment and authorization (A&A) activities, tracking Vulnerability and Risk Assessment and Mapping (VRAM) compliance, and performing security assessments; and 4) Exhibiting mastery of information assurance and cybersecurity principles and organizational requirements to draft, modify and maintain an organizations core cybersecurity policies.
