GS-07: One year specialized experience at the GS-05 level or equivalent performing the following duties: Assisting in planning, writing and editing news articles; graphic design, web, journalism and photography to convey information about an organization to the general public.
GS-09: One year specialized experience at the GS-07 level or equivalent performing the following duties: Assisting in planning, writing and editing news articles; graphic design, web, journalism and photography to convey information about an organization to the general public. Edits and lays out public affairs materials as assigned. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Communications and MediaOral CommunicationWriting Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05 for GS-07 and GS-07 for GS-09).
