Qualification Summary
For the GS-13 level: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level and experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and which is directly in or related to the position to be filled and is gained in the Human Resources field. Experience examples include: providing advice and guidance to management and employees on conduct, discipline, adverse actions, and performance management. Other experience examples are working with management to effect both performance and conduct based adverse actions, advising managers on performance issues, and administering performance management programs for a federal agency.
