Qualification Summary
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Online resumes must demonstrate qualification by providing specific examples and associated results, in response to the announcement’s mandatory criteria specified in this vacancy announcement: 1. Experience in Quality Control. Demonstrated experience as second reviewer and secondary approving official.
2. Knowledge of security policy, procedures and regulations including Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act.
3. Experience with interviewing and conducting investigations on individuals relative to security suitability issues. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Successful completion of DoD/Federal Polygraph Examiner Certification as scheduled by management. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Moderate lifting, 15-44 pounds.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Federally certified Polygraph Examiner. 2. Ability to function cohesively as part of a team. 3. Relates well to all kinds of people; inside and outside the organization; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; can defuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
4. Experience in investigations and/or federal security work roles. 5. Proficient in oral presentation and technical writing.
