Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GS-13, which prepared you to do the work in this position. Specialized experience is defined as: applying a wide range of advanced Human Resources (HR) principles, concepts, and practices involving one or more of the following Human Resources functions: recruitment and placement, position management and classification, management and employee relations, and labor relations; advising and guiding senior leadership on civilian Human Resources operations and policies; managing complex civilian Human Resources projects and/or initiatives; providing recommendations to improve civilian personnel programs and/or operations; and performing the full range of supervisory duties. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
