To qualify for the position your resume must show that you possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position or meet the education requirements that are described below: A. At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service in real estate management involving multiple and conflicting use of land, conflicting environmental concerns, unstable economic conditions, multiple ownership, and community opposition; experience in trust and trust related resources, environmental laws, as well as Congressional acts; negotiate rights-of-way and/or land acquisition or exchanges with landowners and resolved technical problems of limited complexity; special uses; permittees; communication sites; trespasses; prepared and processed appraisals, and related reports; consulting with beneficiaries, lessees, land owners and other interested parties about the contracting process, options, and other needs and documentation; OR B. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (54 semester hours, 81 quarter hours or equivalent); OR LL.M., if related to this position;OR C. A combination of specialized experience as described in A and more than two years of graduate education as described in B when combined together meets 100% of the total requirements for the position. To compute, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond two years by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
