Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Assisting with onsite field inspections of contractor’s work; AND 2) Analyzing plans to ensure methods meet requirements of contract specifications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level (GS-08) position in the federal service. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conducting on-site inspections of construction sites; AND 2) Recommending contract modifications to resolve construction related problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level (GS-10) position in the federal service. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-10).
