GS-09: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-7, in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Providing assistance in developing organizing, and coordination efforts and action to improve the job training search, placement, employment counseling opportunities and reemployment benefits for veterans, other eligible person and member of the National Guard and Reserves and conducting Veterans Preference case processing, assisting in on-site monitoring preparing summary reports and providing technical assistance in job training grant preparations.
GS-11: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS -09 in the Federal Service. In addition to meeting the GS-09 specialized experience, specialized experience for this position includes: Providing technical guidance, strategies and implantation of polices related to employment, reemployment, training programs and service to veterans; coordinating effort and action to improve the job training search, placement, employment counseling opportunities and reemployment benefits for veterans, other eligible person and member of the Nation Guard and Reserves. Conducting Veterans Preference case processing; preparing quarterly summary reports and providing an expanding measure of technical assistance in the preparation of grant request and grant modification request.
GS-12: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS -11 in the Federal Service. In addition to meeting the GS-11 specialized experience, specialized experience for this position includes: Providing an expansive measure of guidance, reviewing and carrying out administrative requirements for grant request and grant modification request for Local Veteran’s Employment Representative (LVER), Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP), Title IV-C Job Training Partnership Act, Veterans Workforce Investment Program (VWIP), Homeless Veterans Reintegration (HVRP) and Incarcerated Veteran Transition Program (IVTP); Investigates, collects, analyzes data to determine whether Veterans Preference guidancehas been afforded under Chapter 43 Title 38 and Title 5 USC.
