GROUP I – All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Personnel (E-1/PVT – E-5/SGT) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program.
GROUP II – All qualified Virginia Army National Guard Male/Female Enlisted Personnel (E-1/PVT – E-5/SGT), regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military Technician or AGR). To be considered as a Group II applicant, proof of appointment/enlistment in the Virginia National Guard must be attached if the appointment/enlistment occurred within 60 days prior to, or during, the advertisement period. Military Grades: Enlisted Personnel (E-1/PVT – E-5/SGT) Compatible Military Assignments: E:CMF: 91; E:MOS: 13B, 13Z, 25B, 36B, 51C, 88M, 88N, 89A, 89B, 92A, 92F, 92Y GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to distinguish between closely related or similar items, ability to follow procedures, ability to sort materials by type, and skill in the use of hand tools. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Candidate must have at leave 12 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the WG-06 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the WG grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as: Experience or training identifying and sorting a variety of complex materials and equipment; Experience receiving materials and equipment, recording, and placing items in proper storage areas; Experience interpreting and using Federal Supply Catalogs, military and manufacturing catalogs, and technical and agency manuals; Experience using and operating forklifts and motor vehicles
