Talat Mahmood’s Death Anniversary

Today is Actor-Singer Talat Mahmood’s death anniversary. He is considered one of the best semi-classical and non-classical singers. Talatji’s singing reminded of G M Durrani’s soulful works, on which the later singers modeled theirs. Because he had been handsome, besides having a melodious voice, he acted in some movies. He, later, gave up acting to focus on his singing.
