Qualification Summary
In addition to the Basic Education Requirement, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-14) which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. Specialized experience to qualify at the GS-15 grade level is defined as:1) Develops safety policies, standards and plans for significant programs and activities involving hazardous equipment;2) Conducts audits and assessments for safety activities and programs; and 3) Serves as functional lead/consultant on safety programs in providing guidance to senior level officials regarding safety programs and activities and representing the agency in meetings with other federal and state agencies.
