CT-13 Level: To qualify for theCT-13 level you musthave at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS/CT-12 level).Specialized experience is defined that through which one has gained aknowledge of information security theories and concepts, practices, and the total infrastructure protection environment sufficient to develop information security policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, services, and data. Experience using knowledge ofsystem, network, and service security certification and accreditation requirements and processes andknowledge of Federal information systems security protocols in order to manage an information security program. Experience using knowledge ofenterprise IT architecture in order to address information security requirements and implement security controls and risk mitigation measures.
