Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience serving as a subject matter expert in the Military Health System (MHS) to include but not limited to: MTF performance, referral management, access to care, customer service, business planning, and DoD/VA relationships Experience serving as a TRICARE program manager utilizing an extensive knowledge of the TRICARE Health Plans and Military Health Systems in order to effectively serve an organization Experience providing guidance and direction for formal integration and administration of TRICARE Operations activities throughout Navy Medicine Experience developing policy and procedures that affects/directs Navy Medicine’s execution of a wide variety of managed care principles and access to care related programs Experience providing oversight to Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in coordinating health care delivery systems and operations in order to evaluate the impact to healthcare operations and execution of approved managed care principles Experience directing an organization in performing statistical and operational analysis in order to research, interpret, and analyze findings to support effective mission accomplishment of the Navy Medicine’s mission Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/Standards/group-stds/gs-admin.asp.
