To be considered at the GS-14 level: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal service. Examples of specialized experience include: managing cost, schedule, and performanceof a project or program; optimizing system design and logistics support for minimum acquisition lifecycle cost;operating as a member of asystem Configuration Control Board or source selection; developing project plans such as the Project Management Plan, Logistics Plan, Acquisition Plan, Test Plan, etc.Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
