Qualification Summary
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-12: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/CG-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as reviewing, analyzing, or implementing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and plans to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of non-public data. Business continuity and disaster recovery strategies include any of the following business impact assessments, developing and testing business continuity plans, and data storage methods such as storage area networks, data replication methods including real or near real-time replication, or recovery techniques.
CG-13: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/CG-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as reviewing, analyzing, or implementing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and plans at large, complex financial institutions or technology service providers to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of non-public data. Business continuity and disaster recovery strategies include any of the following business impact assessments, developing and testing business continuity plans, and data storage methods such as storage area networks, data replication methods including real, or near real-time replication, or recovery techniques.
