Qualification Summary
You must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or qualifying pay band under other pay systems in the Federal Service which has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities as shown below required to successfully perform the duties of the this position. Experience which involved performing education and training duties such as: providing guidance for completing degree requirements; data input; providing guidance on various education and training programs; development of course objectives and assisting with video teletraining. (To be creditable, specialized experience must meet the above quality level requirements). Substitution of Education for Experience: None. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the training methods, policies, procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
2. Knowledge of the principles and processes of effective instruction and adult learning.
3. Ability to assist, to provide and/or develop guidance on education and training programs.
4. Knowledge and skill in using automated systems to prepare reports, extract data and analyze products to determine efficiencies and/or trends.
5. Skill in oral and written communication to ensure accomplishment of training program objectives. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
