You qualify for this position at the GS-14 level (starting salary $114,590) if you possess the following: One full year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 level, that demonstrates 1) Managing and leading personnel; 2) Drafting documents for senior leadership review; 3) Conducting review of correspondence and other written materials for accuracy and agency standards; 4) Tracking activities and project completion; 5) Analyzing administrative policy issues; and 6) Evaluating programs and processes and proposing solutions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and provides valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.NOTE: Qualifications are based on breadth/level of experience.
