Qualification Summary
To qualify for the Realty Specialist, PG -1170-13, you must meet the following requirements: To minimally qualify for the Realty Specialist, PG-1170-13 level, you must possess one year of specialized experience at the PG-12 or equivalent grade level or higher. Examples of Specialized Experience include: Experience applying federal statues/GSA regulations and standard to prepare/negotiate contracts/leases; Experience with real property lease and acquisitions to work on real property projects that require long-term comprehensive planning and analysis of financial and market data; Experience utilizing Office of Management and Budget (OMB) regulations and real property management techniques to perform cost and price analysis, and conduct negotiations; Experience maintaining property management industry to include private sector leasing protocols; Experience with verbal and written communication techniques to develop and maintain formal and informal contacts; and Experience utilizing federal acquisition/procurement regulations to include Title 44 USC and Joint Committee on Printing (JCP) Government Printing, Binding Regulations, and Federal Acquisition regulation (FAR) ensuring customers’ requests are fulfilled. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement (03/08/2019) to be considered.
