Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C. SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element. Those applicants who appear to possess at least the minimal acceptable qualification requirement are considered for further rating; those who do not are rated ineligible and are eliminated. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below: 1. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Physical Efforts and Working Conditions:
Incumbent must be in good physical condition. The incumbent will climb ladders and must be able to climb stair towers of greater than 100 feet. Accessing work sites often requires walking more than three miles throughout the day and stepping over objects. Work of this position involves pushing, pulling, or carrying of objects of varying sizes and shapes, weighing up to 75 pounds. Incumbent works in confined areas such as attics, near ceilings, in utility corridors, etc. Incumbent will work from various heights on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding. Duties are performed both inside and outside in weather conditions varying from hot, humid summer heat to below freezing winter temperatures.
