Today is Director Manmohan Desai’s death anniversary. Born to Movie Producer Kikubhai Desai of Paramount Studios (later Filmalaya), Manmohan Sahab was the director and producer of Bollywood movies. 1950s saw Manmohan Desai’s brother Subhash producing movies and giving Manmohan Sahab the first chance at direction with Chhalia (1960). Later, Subhash engaged Manmohan as the director for Bluff Master (1963), Dharam Veer (1977) and Desh Premee (1982), as well.
