In addition to the below, you must meet at least one of the following requirements: Be an AmeriCorps VISTA Alumni with a Certification of Service letter following the completion of their 12-month assignment. You have 1 year from the time that you have completed your program to apply for federal positions. Be a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) who have successfully completed their service are granted one year from the completion date of service to apply for federal appointments, with a valid Description of Service document (DOS). Be a Peace Corps staff member who have successfully completed 36 mths of continuous service without a break in service of three days or more may apply for federal positions with a valid DOS within 3 years from the separation date from Peace Corps. In addition to meeting the Peace Corps/AmeriCorps eligibility requirements listed above, you must meet the qualification requirements for this position listed below: GS-9: You must have successfully completed a masters or equivalent degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D
Have 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS 7 level participating in operational or planning meetings to discuss program or project milestones or activities and performing research and data analysis. OR Have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education as defined above which equals 100%. For example, 12 months of specialized experience and one year of graduate level education. GS-11: You must have successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
Have 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS 9 level determining issues for further review and study, analyzing documentation, and composing summaries OR Have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education as defined above which equals 100%. For example, 12 months of specialized experience and one year of graduate level education You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. *NOTE: You MUST submit your certification of service documents with your application and please mention your non-competitive eligibility status on your resume.
