Qualification Summary
This position has a selective placement factor for the General Engineer (0801) that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. In addition to the selective placement factor, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Validating intelligence information to support progressive naval expeditionary warfare program development;
2) Utilizing engineering methodology to articulate system architecture and vulnerabilities to the intelligence community;
3) Analyzing Intelligence Community lifecycle to support RDT&E programs needs;
4) Utilizing intelligence information to assess treat capabilities; and
5) Briefing commanding officers and or technical directors on intelligence and technological developments that will impact command missions.
