Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-12 or equivalent), which has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level. Examples of specialized experience should include a thorough understanding of requirements, standards, and codes for electrical systems to a multifaceted government facility with sensitive and hazardous operations. Experience reviewing and evaluating Architect-Engineering preliminary reports, design analysis, calculations, drawings, and specifications of construction projects to ensure plans meet requirements.Resumes will also be evaluated for the following competencies: Electrical Design & Development Engineering, Quality Engineering & Assurance, System Safety, Safety Engineering & Assurance, Configuration Management, Program/Project Management, Project Management & System Engineering Common Developmental Competencies, Facilities Engineering & Management, and Facility Electrical Engineering.
