Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
1. Developing financial and resource management reports or tools; AND 2. Developing briefings, including developing slide decks to persuade management to use data analysis for resource management decisions; AND 3. Overseeing compliance with financial rules and regulations; AND 4. Experience utilizing or developing accounting structures to ensure the proper interface of those items with the general ledger. Specialized experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
1. Developing financial and resource management reports or tools; AND 2. Developing briefings, including developing slide decks to persuade management to use data analysis for resource management decisions; AND 3. Following financial rules and regulations. Specialized experience: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
1. Utilizing financial and resource management reports/tools; AND 2. Assisting with the development of briefings, including developing slide decks to persuade management to use data analysis for resource management decisions; AND 3. Following financial rules and regulations. OR a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. if related. OR You may qualify based on the equivalent combination of education and experience. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. A combination of education and experience. Combining Education and Experience may be computed by first determining the total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. Specialized experience: For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
1. Utilizing financial and resource management reports/tools; AND 2. Assisting with the development of briefings, including developing slide decks in order to persuade management to use data analysis for resource management decisions; AND 3. Following financial rules and regulations. OR a Masters or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR You may qualify based on the equivalent combination of education and experience. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. A combination of education and experience. Combining Education and Experience may be computed by first determining the total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-11, you must have been at the GS-09 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-07 level for 52 weeks.
