In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Experience designing and delivering military training support products; expert competency with the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) and its employment at the Army corps and division echelons; planning and execution of joint air-ground operations education and training; and developing and/or revising course materials associated with joint air-ground operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Conditions of Employment: The incumbent must complete the Air Combat Command (ACC) Academic Instructor Course (AIC) and the Joint Air Operations C2 Course within 180 days of employment. The incumbent must sustain certification as an Air Combat Command instructor, which includes graduation from the course for which instruction is developed or provided, passing the faculty board assessment, and completion of 180 hours of practicum through mentoring, subject matter testing, lesson preparation, test administration, and classroom and/or laboratory instruction. The incumbent must have completed operator-level training or be able to demonstrate equivalent proficiency on the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), including interface with the Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS) and the Advance Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS). The incumbent must demonstrate an understanding of the TAIS interface with the Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS), including system configuration and communications requirements. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
