Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. To qualify for the GS-06 position, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-05. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience verifying accuracy of assigned documents or reports to upload data into an automated procurement database. Experience using various office automation programs and spreadsheets to retrieve and compile data for reports. To qualify for the GS-07 position, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-06. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience performing contract administration technical and administrative support; reviewing and analyzing documents (such as contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, supplemental agreements and change orders); and utilizing databases to reconcile documents. Education can be substituted for experience. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
