Qualification Summary
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Time-in-grade: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a General Schedule (GS) grade at any point in the last 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements. For a GS-07 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06 level. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-06) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Gathers and organizes contract information as requested by the procurement staff (e.g., documentation required to respond to protests, claims, inquiries, freedom of information act requests, etc.). Works within established policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of administrative tasks (e.g., performing market research, pre-award surveys, past performance reference checks). Performs contract follow up duties: these duties include communication and coordination with contractors to resolve delinquent deliveries. Performs a wide variety of procedural, technical and administrative work in support of contract specialists, officers and administrators. Gathers and organizes solicitation information as requested by the procurement staff (e.g., documentation required for pre-bid meetings, wage rate requests, etc.). Education is generally not applicable at the GS-07 level, but graduate education may be credited if the education is directly related to the work of the position.
