In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to this position. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific when describing your experience. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector serving on a special operations team in the law enforcement community with knowledge of investigations, hostages, active shooter, antiterrorism / force protection procedures AND experience in supervising special operation teams by training and evaluating the performance of team members, ensuring team member compliance with laws and regulations in the protection of life and property as well as overseeing special operations involving intelligence gathering, security threats or additional emergency response procedures.
