(A copy of your official transcripts will be required before entrance on duty, if selected). A. Successful completion of a graduate or bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or landscape design.
B. A combination of education and experience–for each year short of graduation, the applicant must have had 1 year of experience under professional leadership and guidance of such character and diversity as to be a satisfactory substitute for the required education. This experience must have included original landscape design.
Minimum Qualifications GS-11: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience which includes planning and design of outdoor recreation facilities, conducting inventory and analysis of trail and recreation areas, and the conceptual design of parks, multi-use trails and river access areas. Experience includes facilitating community meetings and public outreach. Experience includes leading diverse groups of professionals to plan public outdoor recreation facilities
EDUCATION: Successful completion of 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D degree or equivalent doctoral degree. You must include transcripts.

Experience includes leading diverse groups of professionals to plan public outdoor recreation facilities Current surplus and current or former displaced Federal individuals who have special priority selection rights under the Agency Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP) or the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) must be well qualified for the position to receive consideration for special priority selection. Well qualified means that the applicant meets the following: OPM qualification standards for the position; all selective placement factors, where applicable; special qualifying conditions that OPM has approved for the position, where applicable; is physically qualified with reasonable accommodation, where appropriate to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position upon entry; and is rated by the organization at least at the well qualified level on all competencies. Federal employees seeking CTAP/ICTAP eligibility must submit proof that they meet the requirements of 5 CFR 330.605(2) for CTAP and 5 CFR 330.704 for ICTAP.
