Today is Screenwriter Gulshan Nanda’s death anniversary. He was not only a screenwriter but also a novelist. Several of his novels were adapted into Bollywood during the 1960s and 1970s. Many hits of those times – Kaajal (1965), Khilona (1970), Kati Patang (1970), Sharmilee (1971) and Daag (1973) emerged out of his pen. He wrote on various themes – social issues, romance, action thrillers, etc.
