In order to qualify for this position, you must possess at least ONE of the following minimum qualifications: Possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service. Specialized experience is that which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specific qualifying specialized experience for this position (which should be documented on your resume) is experience working in the Operating Room of a hospital or ambulatory care setting performing the following duties: receiving requests or instructions for procedures, interpreting requests or instructions for medical or health care personnel, and providing clerical and administrative support to the unit; OR Successfully completed one full year of graduate education directly related to this position as a Surgical Technician. NOTE TO APPLICANTS: One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one year of full-time study; if that number cannot be obtained from the transcript, 18 semester hours will be considered as one full academic year of graduate study. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED); OR Possess equivalent combinations of experience and education as described above to fully meet the requirements of this position.
