QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level.
Progressive experience in information technology positions which includes one year of specialized experience in the fields of systems administration, information assurance and security and understand the interrelationships of multiple IT disciplines. Must be skilled and experienced in applying IT policy and planning concepts and practices; and possess experience in a wide variety of operating systems, protocols, and equipment used in customer organizations. Must have knowledge of and be able to apply methods, approaches, and practices for quality improvement. The experience must be equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level (including private sector equivalent). Or A doctorate degree in computer science, information science, information systems management, technology management, or doctorate degree in other disciplines which included at least 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above. In addition to the above, candidates must possess:
1. Attention to Detail: Demonstrated experience performing complex remote configuration of various devices.
2. Customer Service: Demonstrated experience reporting, responding to, and resolving service requests. Experience in remote troubleshooting and repair with tier 1 onsite support.
3. Communication: Demonstrated experience preparing presentations, delivering training, and communicating complex issues telephonically to customers in remote locations.
4. Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience in evaluating/troubleshooting systems (design, testing, installation, operations, management, and maintenance), and developing solutions to improve performance, resolve customer problems. Preferred are those applicants that have progressive experience working with VMWare. ONLY THE MOST HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE INITIALLY REFERRED.
