Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience conducting market, financial, legal, or economic analyses (e.g. due diligence, risk exposure, detailed credit analysis, market analysis) of issues across a range of financial transactions and activities and relating them to public policy; AND
Experience with a range of international financial and investment policy issues; AND
Experience conducting analyses of foreign direct investment to identify economic or national security risks; AND
Experience communicating results of research and analysis and making policy recommendations to senior decision makers. Specialized experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience conducting market, financial, legal, or economic analyses (e.g. due diligence, risk exposure, detailed credit analysis, market analysis) of financial transactions and activities; AND
Experience with international financial and investment policy issues to identify economic or national security risks; AND
Experience communicating results of research and analysis to senior decision makers. Specialized experience: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience conducting financial or economic analyses; AND
Experience with a international financial policy issues; AND
Experience communicating results of research and analysis to supervisors. -OR-
You may substitute education for specialized experience at the GS-11 level as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
