Vinyl–“Sanctuary I” by The Byrds

The Byrds’ “Sanctuary I” is prized for its being a collection of rare recordings. Rock fans who came to love the Byrds on the strength of “Eight Miles High,” will appreciate the assortment of B-sides, 45’s-only tracks.
There is no denying the influence that the Byrds have had on modern rock. From lyrical subject matter, to arrangement and guitar stylings, the band’s trailblazing can be heard in genres ranging from folk to alternative rock. If there is beauty in rock music, it is likely to be found here. Though the band is associated with the 1960’s ,their ageless allure endures.
Included on the album are the singles “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue,” “You Won’t Have To Cry (alternate version),” and “All I Really Want To Do,” among others.
Capturing the little-known singles of one of music history’s greatest bands, “Sanctuary I” is a must-have. Buy it today.
