Quintuple Feature at The Hoosier Dome this Saturday

No, that’s not a clever band name. Yes, there really are five hip hop artists booked for the Hoosier Dome this Saturday, April 14th. Most of them are emerging rappers from either the Indianapolis or Chicago area, with a few familiar faces. Yes, I will tell you who they all are.

Poindexter

Poindexter, or “Poindexter the Great”, as he sometimes goes by, is an Indianapolis rapper and hip hop artist whose first release “Legendary” dropped as a free album in 2014. Poindexter’s sophomore release “The Great” came out two years later. His most recent release is the EP, “When Lightning Strikes”, which came out in 2018.

SoLo The Dweeb

Solo The Dweeb has been  and rapping since he was six years old. According to his profile on Reverb Nation, Solo comes from the south side of Chicago, and moved to Indiana for school. His recent album, “Molly Koolaid” is available on his SoundCloud page.

Mani Jurdan

Mani Jurdan is a Chicago rapper and hip hop artist and member of the underground collective HUEY. Jordan released his debut album “Nitro 2 Da Nitro ” in the summer of 2017. According to his profile on Facebook, “He discussed the loss of his brother and feud with the system which he felt inadequately serves his people”.

Switchblades

Switchblades is an Indianapolis hip hop duo of Dose, Dose and Mula Kkhan, two local rappers. The two haven’t released an album yet, but have plenty to show as solo artists. Dose, Dose’s latest most recent album “Don’t Rush Death Vol. 1” was the first release under his new name; while Mula Kkhan’s “Kkharma” in 2017 was his third album to date.

The show at the Hoosier Dome starts at 7:00 pm on Saturday, April 14th. Tickets to the show are ten dollars in advance, and fifteen at the door.
