Preview: Vinyl Theatre, Vesperteen, THE WLDLFE


Next Tuesday, April 3rd, 416 Wabash will be bringing some live music to their venue in downtown Indy. Playing there will be two touring bands, as well as one local group. The touring bands are Vinyl Theatre and Vesperteen, and they’ll be joined by THE WLDLFE.

Vinyl Theatre

Vinyl Theatre is an electronic indie group from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The band formed in 2013, and released their debut album, “Electrogram” in 2014. Vinyl Theatre’s most recent album, “Origami” came out in 2017. You can listen to both of their albums and more by visiting Vinyl Theatre’s SoundCloud page.

Vesperteen is the solo project of Colin Rigsby of Columbus, Ohio. He released his self-titled debut album in 2015. Since then, Vesperteen has released a number of singles over the years. You can listen to all of Vesperteen’s music on Bandcamp.

According to his Facebook profile, “In just over a year, Rigsby has accrued more than 30,000 followers across social media platforms and generated 1,000,000 plays on Spotify as an independent artist”.

THE WLDLFE are an indi-pop, pop-rock, and alt-pop band from Indianapolis. If you haven’t already guessed it, they’re pretty into pop. Their debut EP “New” came out in 2016, followed closely by another “ILY” in early 2017. THE WLDLFE recently released a single titled, “I Don’t Mind”, from their forthcoming album.

The members of THE WLDLFE are Jansen Hogan (vocals), Jason Boucouras (guitar), Geoff Jones (drums), Jack Crane (bass), and Carson Hogan (multiple instruments). To learn more about THE WLDLFE, you can visit their website. You can also find them on Facebook.


The show with Vinyl Theatre, Vesperteen, and THE WLDLFE starts at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 3rd. Doors to 416 Wabash open at 7:00 pm. Tickets to the show are fifteen dollars if bought in advance, and eighteen at the door.
