On Saturday, March 24th, the Old National Centre in downtown Indianapolis will be bringing one of Indianapolis’ own local bands to the stage. Headlining for the night will be Normundy. Supporting acts include A War Within, Freshman Year, MCXX, and Voices.
Normundy is one of the more unique Indianapolis bands in that they fuse many different genres into their own sound. Their music includes elements of alternative rock, rap, electronic, and EDM. According to their Facebook profile, Normundy “focuses on bringing meaningful lyrics, positive live energy, and a unique sound set to the stage to create a brand new musical experience unlike any other”.
While they have only been playing together since 2015, the members of Normundy have produced a decent amount of material. They currently have released three singles, as well as one full length album, “The Depths Below”, which came out earlier this year. You can listen to Normundy by visiting their Bandcamp page.
The members of Normundy are Joshua D-Day (singing vocals, programming), Gabriel Van Arch (rapping vocals), Joel Rice (guitar), Collin Fiol (bass, backing vocals), and Josh Tompkins (drums). For more information on Normundy, you can find them on Facebook.
