For all of those metal and hardcore lovers in Indianapolis, the Old National Centre has a show coming up that you won’t want to miss. Headlining the night of Sunday, March 25th will be Hatebreed. Joining them on stage as well as on tour are Crowbar, The Acacia Strain, and Twitching Tongues.
Hatebreed is a metal, hardcore, and punk band from Connecticut that has been making music since 1994. Since then, Hatebreed “has risen to the ranks of hardcore and heavy metal elite with a GRAMMY® Award nomination, main stage slots on festivals, and countless fans worldwide”. Hatebreed’s seventh and most recent album, “The Concrete Confessional”, came out in 2016.

Crowbar is a metal, sludge, and doom band from New Orleans that started back in 1989. For over a quarter of a decade, they have been pushing out records of doom and gloom and metal. According to their Facebook profile, “Crowbar have released 10 full length cd’s, the second selling over 100,000 units worldwide”.

The Acacia Strain
Like Hatebreed, The Acacia Strain is another death and metal core band from Connecticut. They released their first album “3750” in 2004, and have since released five additional albums over the years. Twitching Tongues is, you guessed it, another hardcore and metal band. Their Facebook profile states that, “Though their sound has evolved dramatically since their inception, Twitching Tongues was born of LA’s hardcore scene in 2009”. Twitching Tongues recorded their debut album “Sleep Therapy” in 2010, but it wasn’t until 2012 until the album was released.
The band’s most recent release is an EP titled “Gaining Purpose Through Passionate Hatred”, which is set to officially release on March 9, 2018. You can listen to a couple tracks from the album by visiting the Twitching Tongues’ Bandcamp page.
