On Saturday, March 17th, the State Street Pub in Indianapolis will be hosting another “Nightly Notable” concert featuring several musical guests. Those performing include Mariah Ivey and Tribe Soul, Peter and the Kings, Mr. Kinetik, and DJ David Peck.
Mariah Ivey and Tribe Soul
Mariah Ivey and Tribe Soul are a hip hop, spoken word, and reggae collective from Indianapolis. According to their Facebook profile, “Their mission is to continue creating the soundtrack to liberation by making space for Art, Discussion, Workshops, and CommUNITY Building”.
The members of Mariah Ivey and Tribe Soul are Mariah Ivey (Lead MC/Poet/Vocalist), LaChandra Nix (BGVs), Ty’is Burks (BGVs), Keiana Whatley (BGVs), Bryant Toles (Keys), Cordell Clark (Drummer), Dana Toles (Bass Guitar), and Damon Karl (Acoustic Guitar).

Peter and the Kings
Peter and the Kings is a psych rock band from Indianapolis. In 2013, they released their debut album “You Will Falter”, which was followed by “I EVERYTHING” in 2015, their most recent album to date. You can listen to both of Peter and the Kings’ albums by visiting their Bandcamp page.

Mr. Kinetik
Mr. Kinetik is a musician, DJ, producer, audio engineer, and MC based in Indianapolis. His solo projects include “The Isolator EP” in 2010, and “Sounds of Soul” and “Clockwork” in 2011. You can listen to these and more by visiting Mr. Kinetik’s Bandcamp page.
Along with his solo work, according to his Facebook profile, Mr. Kinetik was also a part of “The Indianapolis-inspired composition “Our City” [which] was released as a featured song in The 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee XLVI Indy Music Project”.
