Altered Thursdaze at The Mousetrap Bar and Grill are still around, and the next, on March 15th, is sure to be one to remember. The Altered Thursdaze events are all put on by IndyMojo Presents, a music blog, radio station, and event promoter in Indianapolis. IndyMojo Presents had this to say regarding the upcoming show:
“This event is serving as a farewell to our dear friend, Alexandra Rodmeow, who is moving out to the Pacific Northwest to live with her Sasquatch family! She has been an integral part of the IndyMojo family for 7 years now, almost to the date”. To celebrate the occasion, The Mousetrap and IndyMojo are bringing some of Rodmeow’s favorites to perform.
Foi oi oi and What The Bleep
Foi oi oi may have one of the more unique names in the music scene. A DJ and audio engineer, who makes bass music with the other uniquely-named main performer of the night: What The Bleep.
Both are on the record labels Konkrete Jungle Bowling Green, and Electronic Enlightenment. Together, Foi oi oi and What The Bleep collaborate in a project they call, “FoiBleep”.
FoiBleep is a tag team duo that crafts multi-cultural and bass-heavy electronic music. Over the years from attending the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, FoiBleep has continually released annual “Feelings For Detroit” albums.
According to FoiBleep’s Facebook page, “The mix has become the duo’s most treasured creation, from the fluid “Top Mix of 2012″ (RaggaJungle.biz) Volume 6: Water Sound to the 54-track dancefloor-focused Volume 7: Conquering Dandelion to Volume 8: Under Mi Sensei in a kung-fu style”. The mixes are a sure pleasure to listen to, and something that is much better to experience than to be told about.
The show on Thursday the 15th will also feature several supporting guest artists. These include the drum and bass, nerofunk, jungle DJ Antik One, Ceebz, and Jin-XS.
Altered Thursdaze kicks off at 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 15th at The Mousetrap Bar and Grill. The show will last until 3:00 am. In honor of the occasion, there will be no cover charge, so be sure to tip those bartenders.
