Raj meets Ramnath’s maidservant Asha (Nutan) as well and both fall in love soon. Raj works hard and gets a good name for his job. Within one month he gets promoted to a store job.
It turns out that the Asha, Raj has been dating is really Aarti, Mr. Ramnath’s niece. Raj gets to know the truth and is shattered. At the same time, Aarti’s uncle realizes that Aarti and Raj are in love and restricts his ward from meeting Raj. In the meantime, a box of poison gets exchanged with the flu medicine in Mr. Ramnath’s factory. Mr. Ramnath tells his manager to shut up about it, fearing the press. Mrs. D’sa contracts flu and Aarti takes care of her. While returning home, Aarti informs Raj that she would go against her uncle to marry Raj. When she returns home, Mr. Ramnath threatens her that Raj would be incurring his wrath if the relationship continued.
Mrs. D’sa asks Raj to bring Aarti to take care of her, while he is at work. Accordingly, Raj visits Aarti. But, she tells him to leave and forget her. She sings this song when he leaves.
