Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts suffers disaster on the road

This past weekend Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts and his brother Kevin were headed out on a routine hunting trip. Sadly, before they could get to their destination, disaster struck. LeVox’s bus caught on fire early Saturday morning. Luckily, both Gary and his brother escaped unharmed. But, the story could have gone a lot differently.

LeVox shared the scary experience with his fans shortly after the ordeal on Saturday morning. He even took the time to shoot a quick video of the smoke billowing from his bus door.

“My bus caught on fire this mornin on my way to a hunting trip,” LeVox captioned the video. “My brother Kevin and I got out. It happened so quick and could have been a different story if the ammunition would have caught fire. What a way to start 2018. Thank you [L]ord for your covering this mornin!”

He also shared an image of his hunting gear lying on the side of the road. Apparently, he and his brother or the firefighters were able to retrieve it before it was damaged or caused an explosion.

Hopefully, the rest of 2018 will go much smoother for LeVox. He and his bandmates in Rascal Flatts are set to head out on tour later this year. Their “Back to Us” tour kicks off later this year, although we aren’t certain of the dates yet.

The team does plan to hit a number of cities throughout the United States plus one city in Canada. Rascal Flatts just announced the tour this week, so details are still coming out on it. You can learn more about it, here.

The band also has a new album coming out this year, also titled “Back to Us”. It will be their first release since “Rewind” album from 2014. A single is already available from the new album, “Yours if You Want It.”
