Bollywood actor Hritik Roshan, born this day 44 years ago, is the son of actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. Renowned for his dances, he has portrayed several characters in the movies. He happens to be one of the highest paid actors, today and has won several awards. This includes 6 Filmfare Awards – one for the Best Debut, 4 for Best Actor and one Best Actor, Critic’s choice.
Hritik Roshan has performed roles in several movies since childhood. He started his career in the movies, as an adult, assisting his father. At the same time, he learned acting under Kishore Namit Kapoor. Hritik Roshan has worked with his Dad in several movies. His debut movie Kaho Na…Pyar Hai (2000) was a hit at the box-office. Hritik Roshan is also a stage artist and debuted on the TV with Just Dance (2011), as a judge. He also involves himself with humanitarian causes. He has also launched his brand of clothes. He was diagnosed with scoliosis when he was in his early 20s. This meant that he could not dance or perform stunts. He decided to become an actor anyway. About a year after he was diagnosed with the ailment, he began jogging on a beach when it began to rain suddenly. Luckily, there was no pain and he increased his pace more confidently. There were no bad effects. Hritik Roshan thinks that this is the turning point in his career.
