Next Thursday, January 4th, The Old National Centre in downtown Indianapolis will be the hosting venue for a live show put on by The Noise. Black Label Society will be playing there, as well as Corrosion of Conformity. If you’re looking for something to do in the middle of the week or is your New Year’s resolution involves going out to more live shows, you’re in luck.
Black Label Society
Black Label Society is a heavy metal American rock band that formed back in 1998. In the same year, they released their debut album, “Sonic Brew”. Since then, Black Label Society has released nine additional albums. Their tenth, “Grimmest Hits” is set to come out in 2018. The current members of Black Label Society are Zakk Wylde (vocals, guitar, piano), John DeServio (bass), Jeff Fabb (drums), and Dario Lorina (guitar). The members of Black Label Society have been involved in several side projects. Among these are Zakk Sabbath, Generation Axe Tour, Experience Hendrix Tour, Book of Shadows, and Pride & Glory. According to the band’s website, “Wylde appeared in the music video game Guitar Hero World Tour as a playable character”.
Corrosion of Conformity
Corrosion of Conformity is a hard rock, metal, and punk rock band from Raleigh, North Carolina. The band is currently touring with Black Label Society across the states. The members of Corrosion of Conformity include Pepper Keenan (vocals, guitar), Woodroe Weatherman (guitar), Mike Dean (bass, vocals), and Reed Mullin (drums, vocals). After a long career together, including a four-year hiatus, Corrosion of Conformity will be releasing their newest album, “No Cross No Crown” in January 2018.
