Soon, due to Shyam’s efforts, Renu also falls in love with him.
Tragedy strikes and Renu’s brother Manoharlal (Jagdish Raaj) dies in an accident. Manoharlal happens to be Kunwar Amar Singh’s friend and the latter brings his deceased friend’s family to his home. He also gets attracted to Renu because she is his former girlfriend Kamla’s look-alike. These developments are unknown to Shyam and Kuldeep. Kuldeep happens to be Renu’s long-lost cousin brother. Shyam and Kuldeep have become friends because of the common factor of Renu.
The Kunwar asks for Chandan Singh’s (Ashok Kapoor) sister’s Rajkumari (Parveen Paul) hand for Shyam. Chandan Singh feels insulted due to it and breaks his friendship with the Kunwar. Their rivalry increases. Kuldeep meets Rajkumari and they fall in love with each other. Ramu Kaka thinks Renu as the right match for the Kunwar and hopes that he would finally marry her. Renu sees Shyam’s photo in the Kunwar’s home and feels comfortable there. When Shyam returns home, he finds that Amar Singh is falling for Renu. Thus, Shyam decides to back out of his relationship with Renu. Renu is compelled to marry the Kunwar, by her family.
Shyam stays away from Renu and does not encourage any romantic feelings between them. Soon, Amar Singh gets suspicious that Shyam is in love with some girl. But, Shyam categorically denies it. Renu is still in love with Shyam and waits for an official proposal from him. Shyam acts wayward to convince Renu to leave him alone and give up the love that she has for him.
